Data QA

eBrands is looking for a Data QA to join our team, to help us with data quality assurance. We are building a platform that collects, joins and presents data from multiple sources, brands and channels. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of this data, as well as helping to define and develop our testing processes.

We are using a modern technology stack on AWS; using services including EventBridge, Lambda, Redshift, SageMaker and Quicksight. We would like you to have experience of working in a QA role in either a software or ecommerce environment.

‍

Our data capabilities and machine learning solutions are growing swiftly, therefore the quality of our data is critical.

‍

‍

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting the development team in achieving quality products by identifying defects and deficiencies early and providing feedback for continuously improving the development and testing processes.

‍

• Develop, extend, and improve the Test Automation tools and test manual/automated frameworks.

‍

• Providing input to the release plan, defect/change management processes, systems integration, testing tools and processes.

‍

• Identifying areas of weakness to existing procedures, continually implementing new procedures, and assessing risk of impact from changes to projects.

‍

• Ensuring our testing processes meet our partner requirements.

‍

• Work with teams from technology, sales, finance, marketing and logistics to ensure errors are understood, logged and corrected in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

‍

• Experience working in a QA role for either a software or ecommerce company

‍

• A proven track record of developing and maintaining test plans

‍

• Ability to plan and implement the full set of test manual/automation activities: create, maintain, and execute manual/automated tests.

‍

• Professional level English

‍

• Experience working in an international environment

‍

‍

The role is based in our office in Lahore, Pakistan.
