Overview
Blokker is one of the best-known household retailers in the Netherlands, selling kitchenware, household goods, small appliances, home décor and toys in its stores and at blokker.nl. Through its marketplace, Blokker Connect!, selected third-party sellers can sell products on blokker.nl. For a brand in home, kitchen or household products, Blokker Connect! is a curated route to Dutch shoppers.
Who is behind Blokker
Blokker dates back to 1896 and is a familiar name on Dutch shopping streets. In 2016 Blokker opened its webshop to outside sellers through what was then called Nextail Connect!, built on Mirakl. It started with around 10,000 products from a handful of partners, and the marketplace has since become Blokker Connect!.
Blokker Connect!
- Reach. According to integration partner EffectConnect, blokker.nl has about 4 million visitors a month.
- Categories. Sellers can sell in more than 20 categories, including home appliances, household and cleaning, cooking and dining, personal care, pet supplies, toys, and home and leisure.
- A closed marketplace. Blokker selects its sales partners and prefers sellers who connect through an integrator.
- Fees. EffectConnect reports a monthly selling fee of EUR 49. Other terms are set in the seller agreement.

- The seller fulfils. The seller handles delivery, returns and customer service for its orders.
