Overview

Bunnings is Australia and New Zealand's leading home improvement and garden retailer, with close to 300 large warehouse stores and an online business at bunnings.com.au. Through its marketplace, Bunnings MarketLink, selected third-party sellers offer products that Bunnings doesn't stock in its stores. For a brand in home, garden, appliances or outdoor living, MarketLink is a route to one of Australia's most visited retail websites.

Who is behind Bunnings

Bunnings is part of Wesfarmers, one of Australia's largest listed companies, and is its biggest earnings contributor. In the 2026 financial year, revenue grew 4.1% to AUD 20.4 billion and earnings grew 5.1% to AUD 2.46 billion. At the end of the year Bunnings had 288 warehouses, 65 smaller format stores, 26 trade centres, 110 Beaumont Tiles stores and 17 Tool Kit Depot stores. Bunnings has said that around 20 million Australians visit its website every month.

Bunnings MarketLink

Bunnings launched MarketLink in November 2022, built on Mirakl. Its goal is to offer products Bunnings doesn't normally sell in its warehouses, such as indoor furniture, kitchen appliances, home entertainment, kitchenware and homeware. The marketplace keeps growing, with new commercial and services marketplaces added in recent years. Bunnings also runs its own retail media business, Hammer Media, with screens in around 250 stores.

How selling on MarketLink works

  • Trusted sellers. MarketLink is curated, and sellers must qualify for Bunnings' trusted seller programme.
  • The seller manages the offer. Sellers manage their own range, set their retail price, fulfil orders directly to customers and handle customer enquiries.
  • Complementary range. Bunnings focuses MarketLink on products that complement, rather than duplicate, what it sells in store.
  • Mirakl. Sellers connect through Mirakl, directly or with a multichannel tool.

A brand considering MarketLink should be ready with Australian stock and delivery, product compliance with Australian standards (for example for electrical products), and strong product content.

Why Bunnings matters for brands

Bunnings is one of Australia's most trusted retail brands, and MarketLink gives brands access to its very large online audience without a store listing.
