Overview
La Redoute is a leading French online retailer for home and fashion, known for its furniture, home décor, textiles and clothing. Its curated marketplace on laredoute.fr adds products from selected partner brands and sellers. For a home, fashion or lifestyle brand, La Redoute is one of the most important French marketplaces.
Who is behind La Redoute
La Redoute is a historic French retailer and is now part of the Galeries Lafayette group. Online sales make up more than 95% of its revenue, and it also has its own stores and corners in Galeries Lafayette department stores. La Redoute serves customers in France and several other European countries. See also our Galeries Lafayette page.
The La Redoute marketplace
La Redoute launched its marketplace in 2010 and later moved it to Mirakl. The marketplace now makes up 33% of La Redoute's business volume in France, with a sale every eight seconds. La Redoute describes itself as one of the most selective marketplaces in France and works with around 500 partner merchants. In Lengow's 2025 ranking of French marketplaces, it came fourth. In June 2026 it launched sponsored products with Mirakl Ads, so sellers can advertise on laredoute.fr. Its "La Reboucle" programme adds second-hand products.
How selling on La Redoute works
- Strict selection. La Redoute assesses applications against its own criteria, including brand fit and commercial potential.
- Lifestyle focus. The marketplace is focused on home, fashion and lifestyle, not general merchandise.
- Fees. According to Lengow, sellers pay a monthly subscription of EUR 49.90 excluding VAT for access to La Redoute's Mirakl platform, plus commission on sales.
- French content with detailed attributes such as colour, size and variants.
- Advertising through La Redoute's sponsored products.
Why La Redoute matters for brands
