Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
About eBrands
eBrands is a commerce operator and growth platform headquartered in Helsinki, scaling consumer brands across D2C, global marketplaces and retail in Europe and North America. We run execution end to end (channel operations, pricing, marketing, inventory and fulfilment) and act as Merchant of Record across 50+ brands: ~20 we own and ~30 we operate for brand partners. Our own Al and data platform, Apollo, powers every decision, and we expect everyone to build with Al as a default tool. You'll work with leading consumer brands, category winners in their home markets, and take them to the world.
We hire for growth mindset. We test, iterate and scale, and we expect people to get better every quarter, learn faster than the market and treat every miss as input for the next move. If you want a playbook handed to you, this isn't the place. If you want to write it, it is.
About the role
You'll own paid growth for the partner brands we run D2C for: brands that trust us to grow their webshops in new markets. You decide where the money goes across Meta, Google and other paid channels, which ads we test and how fast we scale. You're measured on new customers and contribution after ad spend, rather than on platform ROAS.
This is a rare shot at owning paid growth across several brands and markets early in your career. You sit in the D2C team next to the specialists running our owned brands, so learnings flow both ways.
What you'll own
- Paid growth for a portfolio of partner brands on their Shopify stores, from the first campaign to scaling budgets across markets.
- Meta as your main channel: account structure, budgets and day-to-day optimisation, with Google Ads and other paid channels alongside.
- A steady creative testing rhythm: new angles every week, clear rules for picking winners, and close work with designers and creators to keep the pipeline full.
- Measurement that holds up: steering by new customers, new-customer CAC and contribution after ads, and testing whether paid spend drives sales that wouldn't have happened anyway.
- A scaling plan per brand and market, with clear points where you speed up, hold or pull back.
- Clear, decision-first reporting to partner brands and internally: what happened, what it means and what you'll do next.
- Using Al, Claude in particular, across the workflow: building workflows, skills and automations for reporting, creative ideas and account checks, and bringing the team along with you.
What you'll bring
- 2+ years hands-on in paid social or paid search, with results you've personally moved. You can show the numbers.
- Strong Meta Ads skills. You work in Ads Manager yourself and know how the platform works today: broad targeting, creative-led testing, Advantage+.
- You think in margin. You know what a customer is worth to the business and what you can afford to pay for one.
- Comfort with data: you check platform numbers against store data and notice when they don't add up.
- Evidence of a steep trajectory. You've grown faster than your title.
- Al tools are already part of how you work, or you're clearly eager to get there fast. We'll ask what you've tried.
- A growth mindset: you raise your own bar continuously, treat misses as data and improve together rather than defend the status quo.
- Full professional fluency in English, our working language across the company.
Worth saying plainly
This is a hands-on role. You run the accounts yourself, with no agency in between. Growth here means more new customers and more margin, so scaling spend only counts when both grow with it.
Nice to have
- E-commerce experience, ideally with Shopify. This is a major plus.
- Experience running several brands or markets at once, in-house or at an agency.
- TikTok Ads, email/CRM or conversion rate optimisation.
